Here you will find the story of Joe and Emily, a couple of 40-somethings traveling the world.

We write about our journeys exploring cultures around the world. Along the way, we’ll share our tips and tricks so you can make the most of your journey. We hope that you enjoy our travel stories and are inspired to EMBRACE TODAY!

Joe and Emily married in 2007. We talked and dreamed about mainly two things: starting a business and traveling the world. In 2011, we made our first dream come true. We started our very own music store. It was amazing! For 11 years we spread our love of music and musical instruments to thousands of people in our community. We worked very hard to build a robust business. During those years, we made sure to enjoy every minute and follow our motto: Embrace Today!

In 2022, we decided it was time to start making our dream of traveling the world come true. The reality was that we couldn’t travel and maintain our business. Therefore, we made the truly difficult decision to sell our music store.

Now, we have the time and resources to travel the world. Since we sold our business, we have been living out our traveling dream. We watched dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico, visited the rockets at Space X, walked across the entire country of Liechtenstein, sampled the chocolate in Switzerland, swam in the turquoise waters of St. Thomas Island, motorbiked through the countryside of Vietnam, enjoyed the amazing cuisine of Thailand, and explored the ancient city of Machu Picchu. Who knows where we’ll travel next?

We have set a goal of putting our feet on all seven continents, but we are going to take our time, enjoy the ride, and make sure that every moment we EMBRACE TODAY!
